"Knick" Bavetta - Tim Hardaway
There's only 3 refs I don't like much:
Bavetta because I think he's more into drama than calling a fair game.
Joey Crawford because he lets emotion cloud his calls.
Bennett Salvatore because he constantly makes the stupidest of calls. I still can't believe that Finley out of bounds in the Houston series back in 04 that he didn't call when he was like 2 feet away from it.

Violet Palmer is not an unfair official. She just really sucks at her job. I think she's pretty equally awful to all teams.
Joe Crawford, Salvatore are up there. Jim Capers is bad, but I don't know if he refs anymore.

I don't really understand the whining about Violet Palmer. She doesn't seem to make a higher percentage of truly bad calls than do any other officials during the games I've seen.
+1 I don't think she's biased, but man does she suck at refereeing.
Really? Maybe I just notice more because she's a woman, stands out more and there's a latent bias, but it seems like I'm ing about the job she's doing just about every time I see her. I forget which game, but a couple nights ago in fact I was shaking my head at her calls a couple of times.

Joey Crawford is a pretty good ref, other than that whole Tim Duncan fiasco.
