Yeah, it was. Did the Spurs accept the offer or will he travel with the team?
That was a classy move by the Detroit Pistons owner offering his private jet to fly Tim home.

The Spurs/Tim accepted.
There is no hate between these two teams and its starts with the coachs being friends.
The Pistons are one of the franchises I respect most. To build a le team when they looked like they were going to become the Atlanta Hawks North in 2000 is incredible.
Now the Spurs should rest Tim until he's 100% healthy. Even if that's going to cost us the #1 spot in the league/West.
Damn this season has been rough on Duncan.
I agree, let him rest as long as he needs to.
I agree rest him for a couple of weeks, and we still wind up with the #2 seed.

He just wanted Duncan out of the building so he wouldn't have some kind of miracle comeback .
I'm so ing proud of how the Spurs are hanging tough. Tony and Manu are coming in for crunch time? Spurs just can't quite get over the hump.
only -2 to start crunch time...
Classy move. Kudos to the Pistons for that.
Think about it, do you reckon the head honchos behind the Lakers would have done that? No freakin' way.![]()
Very strange thread.
No, the Laker owner only provides planes for rapists to fly back and forth to their legal proceedings.

Ex.
Bit different to what the Phoenix Owner was upto last time the Spurs played the Suns.
rich people know how to write everything off. It was a very fine gesture, but it wasn't out his pocket, at all.
Because the very concept of class is foreign to the majority of Laker fans?
Let's return this gracious offer.....by beating the crap out of them in the finals.
if they even make it that far![]()
