Man, this really makes me feel for Detroit.
I really feel bad for the city of Detroit. They are Cleveland's rivals in just about everything except NFL- however the cities are very similar. I feel bad for the people there not because of their sports teams, but because most have no idea if they will have a job at the end of the day. That said, this is pretty bad. They sent this out to all Cavs fans with a Playoff Package.
As the Cavaliers head to Detroit to continue their Round One compe ion against the Pistons, you can cheer them on at the Palace in person at a very special price!

Man, this really makes me feel for Detroit.
The Palace at Auburn Hills used to be PACKED during the Playoffs.
That does suck.
well, cavs are boring to watch. what can you say
We've learned from the best.
Yeah, that's pretty sad to see. Used to always be a full house at the Palace. Obviously the Billups trade, and resulting fall from grace has many fans realizing there little to no chance of progressing past Cleveland, but as Thunder Dan mentioned, it's more about the state of the local economy. They announced last week that Michigan ranks the highest at a 12.6% unemployment rate. People are losing jobs left and right. And people who are still employed have been struggling along for the last year, hoping they won't be next. The disposable income used for sports and entertainment just isn't there for many people.
Hopefully things improve soon.
Amen broI feel bad for people up there, economy is just ruthless right now
