Wasn't aware they had this series, have to check it out Dynasty Warriors and Gundam owns...G Gundam ftw.
Anyways Waiting for Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, looks good.
Just picked this up today, only been playing for about an hour, and already I can see the improvements over the first game. The combo system flows much better (increased from 4 to 6 attacks), and the playable roster of mechs has more than tripled, coupled with the first American voicings of Turn-A's Gym Ghingham, F91's Seabook Arno and Cecily Fairchild, and Victory Gundam's Uso Evin and Katejina Loos. This is going to be awesome.

didn't know they were for american consoles as well
