I never understood why Pop went away from Hill and decided to go with Mason as backup PG. It was a decision that didn't yield any positive results during the season (in fact, it screwed up Mason's game and took away Hill's playing time), and I think this decision has had a huge impact in the playoffs. And he's still sticking with it?!? Does anyone have any kind of insight into this decision?

Gotta admit it's hard for me to bash a man who's coached us to 4 championships, but his decision to use Mason at PG has been a failure. It was so patently obvious before today, but no sooner does Mason switch to PG today, and the momentum shifts and we never get it back. -- I'd rather go with Jacque Vaughn at PG if Pop doesn't want to play George Hill. Mason at PG not only screws up his game but it's a domino effect for the rest of the offense.

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea why Pop (my favorite Spur) would do this.
