Did anyone notice that when Ray was extradited from England, the US had to show evidence?
The US said Ray was part of a CONSPIRACY to kill MLK.
He probably shouldn't have confessed.

First of all, Ray wasn't very bright. He thought was going to get a public pretender and then given the death penalty.
His strategy was to win on appeal.

To be fair, the police state thing isn't TOO far off, if you're talking about the fact that we jail too many people.
The assassinations of JFK and MLK have some strange coincidences. Both had flakey white guys set up as the "patsy". The alledged guns were left at the scene. The government has all kinds of classified do ents on Oswald and Ray. Rush to judements on both.
I never believed Ray did that shooting.
