lolololol. i guess she couldnt tell a black man from a white man
Okay, this idiot Dorris Burke that just thought Jordan's game winner against Utah in '98 was over Craig Ehlo has to go...
In the words of Dr House..."WHY IS A COMMETATING AN NBA GAME?"![]()
lolololol. i guess she couldnt tell a black man from a white man
Yea she was commetating in Utah so she was probably blinded by the crowd.
i think it should be swtiched to the machine and it will at least make a little sense. mambas dont have red eyes.
That's pretty pathetic. I mean if you're calling an NBA game on ESPN and you don't know that Jordan's game winner in the 1998 Finals was over Bryon Russell then you probably shouldn't be calling games. That's one of the most memorable moments in NBA history and NBA playoff history.
I thought her gushing over Kobe in the 4th went overboard. I can understanding praising him for an awesome game, but she took it to another level. I'm not surprised considering she grew up a huge Lakers fan.
Yeah I heard that during the broadcast
I was like WTF ???????????
It was a good guess. Adam Keefe is a slightly better guess.
And bonus points should be awarded to remembering jordan pushed off and which arm he did it with.
I heard they had to throw away the chair she was using due to sanitary reasons.
Lmao@ Doris, what is espn thinking. I hope that's the last game we ever have to hear from her. She should just be doing WNBA games.
She must be dyslexic to get her numbers mixed up like that, it was actually 1989.
Yup...highest rated game in NBA history...I remember exactly where I was when that happened, too...I was watching the game at CJ Borgs in the SeaTac airport while waiting for my flight to Anchorage. I remember thinking, "Son of a , they did it again!"
Of course, Eisley's 3 in the first half should have counted, but he got d out by Bavetta. I'm not saying the Jazz would definitely have won Game 6 if that shot had counted like it should have, or that they would have then won Game 7, but still...
pathetic. if you dont know the facts done talk.
Even though ESPN's picture quality is much better than KCAL's, I couldn't watch it because of Burke.
this almost makes me want to go back with kcal. only if there was a way to have espn's picture with any other commentating. even that white dude was getting annoyed with her trash. at least she didnt say "mama there goes that man"... oh wait she did
Mark Jackson: "If I'm ______, I wouldn't want Doris Burke commentating. Not on my watch"
lmfao exactly! Our local station was all choppy but I was watching that instead.
Don't forget Ron Harper's jumper that came after the shot clock buzzer yet they still counted it. That's 5 points right there.
You know you got screwed when Bavetta makes it a point the following preseason to apologize for the pathetic refereeing in that game.
