    is this what has become of the mighty Mavericks franchise??? The mighty franchise that got to the NBA finals 3 years ago????

    beating an injured Spurs team in round 1 is cause of mavfan celebratin like they won the superbowl?

    Hollins might be the best guy from now on to have at center, when closing games out. he will be fresher than anyone else, and his energy will be unmatched and will give the Mavs mental boosts when he slams home a putback, or gets a massive block.

    He is more athletic than Damp which allows him to cover the pick n roll much better. However, dude already gets called for tons of fouls and i think especially on the road against TD that he would get whistled for everything

    That is true. But i think generally, for the rest of the playoffs, unless Damp is playing well, they should put Hollins in to close out games.
