The spurs obviously Need a big shot-blocking center / Starting 2 guard / wing scorer and defender with all of them being young to help the aging big 3. Any suggestions/trades on the who we can get in those positions?

I say we bring David Wingate and Jeff Cook out of retirement and maybe ask Keith Edmunson if he wants to play to. We could maybe bring in Alfrederick Hughes and maybe the A-train might have some gas left or we could possibly ask Ed Nealy if he wants to play to or maybe we could bail out Alvin Robertson from jail and ask Sleepy Floyd and Brad Lohaus to return. Any thoughts anyone?

I like how Bruce kept standing near the end of the game. That man has a lot of pride. I hope we keep him.

Dwayne Schintzius, Leon Smith, Joe Binion, Nate Blackwell and Barry Sumpter should just about do it. Since we picked them in previous drafts let's see what they can do. After all most are over 40 so they should fit right in with our old and slow guys who can't make baskets and defend like toilet tissue trying to stop a hurricane.

We need to play defense again...
Every bucket that was going in uncontested was like a dagger twisting inside me, and there were way, WAY too many this season.

I'd bring all the young guys we have in europe over and get a premiere wing player who can score/defend. We trade our assets not named Duncan/Ginobili/Parker to get that premiere wing player.

Gist 6-9 PF 23 yrs old / Splitter 6-11 C / Javtokas 6-11 F/C all in europe. Resign Hairston and try to sign R. Jefferson, trade alot of the old guys for cash. We have finley/Bowen options on there contract. Thomas / bonner / Mason / Vaughn / Oberto are all under contract. If we can package them for some cash or a player who will not hinder us financially.

not much..just some player that can shoot and D, consistently!
is not much to ask for isn't it? I mean they do get paid for that right?
...and don't let me see bonner and mason's face again...geez..
yes..bonner hustles..but not there is not there..he just can't be the one.
mason..not because of his shots did not went in..is because he does not even wanted to play, you can tell clearly by the guy's eyes.
it just makes me so mad each time to see a clumsiness bonner and mason la chicken.
