As a cheap Bowen replacement, he's as close as you are going to get. The problem is he's not as good a defender and doesn't shoot as well. That's not a good combination but for a minimum contract, I'd probably take him over Udoka because he's a better defender.
Weren't the Spurs hot to trot over this guy a couple summers ago?

The Mavericks are expected to sign free-agent Quinton Ross to a contract next week.
