This guy would be a beast on the Spurs if he had his head straight. But no way the Spurs roll the dice on him.

His per-minute stats this year were disgusting.

He is Marcus Camby V.2. Same type of rebounder and "defender". Would fit well in SA, but I feel he is too much of a free spirit to mesh.

Nuggets will not be able to save everybody. Because they're up against the cap, I'm hoping that if they resign Andersen, they will be unable to keep Jones.

    He has great hair though.

Nobody in the current Spurs roster has good hair, except for Oberto.

If his head is on straight now, I wouldn't mind, he's a perfect compliment defender to Timmy, and can clean up the boards on both ends. I wouldn't mind him over Gooden. He's basically what I hope Ian to be, so it'd be nice to have 2 athletic bigs, 2 unathletic ones, and Bonner, lol.

He's nowhere near as offensively polished as Gooden. Yet Gooden is nowhere near the defender and shotblocker that Andersen is. If he could get had cheaply, you bet.

That said, I highly doubt that Denver will allow him to get away.

Denver would be stupid to let him go.

I think he'd fit perfectly here. His shot blocking next to Duncan ... can you imagine? Not to mention the way he rebounds. No offense to speak of other than dunks but we can't have strictly shooters at every position.

He appears to have his head on straight but I doubt the Spurs give him a look. They probably want some 6'5 guy to play center.

Here is the link to Denver's Team Salary Information.

    http://hoopshype.com/salaries/denver.htm

They've got some cash coming off the books, yet they have Anderson & Jones to resign. I'm not sure what the deal is with JR Smith. Still, Denver will have some cap concerns.

Best pick-up I made this year, easily.

For some reason I think he could fit well into the Spurs system. He has made his mistakes, but by no means is he Rodman redux. I'd definitely chance it with him, especially considering teh fact that I doubt he'll want to be given a mandatory one year sabbitical again.

This wont happen. Denver is making it a top priority to re-sign him and he's fine where he is.

I think its downright funny how it's impossible for us to find a big man who can rebound and play D every single summer.

I read the Nuggets are making it a top priority to re-sign him. I really don't think this is a possibility.

Best bang for the buck. This is the big I'd like to see the Spurs go after. Real crowd favorite, high energy, emotion guy too.
