I'm just saying...a kid of his caliber is the missing piece! Not to mention, would be very close to his hometown.

Say what??? Have you not seen KG? Or how about Kevin Durant? Or how about any number of excellent players around the league that are in Bosh's height & weight range. And at almost 23 points per game to go along with 10 rebounds per game Bosh would be perfect for the Spurs. Having him and TD on the frontline would be fantastic and in 2010 we can afford him.

Pop...are you paying attention? Enough with the 60 year old geezers. It is time to get with the program and get some youth and then play that youth. If Ian Mahimi is EVER going to play for you, then who better to learn from than CB & TD...? Eh, what do you say?

Coincidentally, Robinson's knees were on their way out upon Duncan entering into the league. However, did take Timmy under his wings and molded him into another BigMan superstar. Maybe another turn of events...just my guest.

The spurs will definitely be under the cap come 2010.
Only Duncan and Parker will be under contract during the 2009-2010 season.
I guess those who have already written off the spurs including spurs fans are unaware of this..
I know NBA GM's are aware of this...

I'm all for it if the Spurs can't find another big man. I'd rather have Lamarcus Aldridge in 2010, but if the Spurs can afford CB4, then cool.

Unless they use 2010 to their advantage to get high-profile FAs this summer, like VC or Richard Jefferson.

I can remember when a month away was too damn long. And a week away was also too damn long, Ditto for a day. And ditto for an hour. Those were the days when you just couldn't wait any longer for Santa to arrive. Course back then I was about 6 or 7 years old and then my parents burst my bubble and told me that Santa was only make believe.

We can't do much until 2010 in the first place. There is going to be a flood of All Stars available in 2010.

Don't think that Portland would release Aldridge (damn fools if they do), but crazier things have happened. Amare to me = T. Mac. Agressive? Yes. Fragile? Yes!

LaMarcus doesn't have the stats of Bosh. He also is not as quick as Bosh. But, there is little chance we get either anyway.

Seriously, all this talk of 'weapons' and 'firepower...' the Spurs have lost their Way.

Defense and execution, guts and timely shots. That's how we do(did) it.

When 2007 ended, faced with a crossroads the FO clearly went down the wrong turn, keeping Bonner and such.

I know Pop wanted a Horry type player, but you can't teach what Horry did instinctively, making those little plays and hitting big shots that helped win championships.

This season was painful to watch, despite the regular season wins, and exciting as it may be to win on last second shots, that's just fools gold.

Remember in elementary they would make us take construction paper, turn them into links chaining them together, so we could use them as a marker for the approach of Christmas. Everyday remove either a green or red strip.

Valentines day was the worst I was so shy even though girls would chase me on the playground.

Yeah but the SPurs will have to seriously upgrade their personnel who can play both tough defense and score.. such players don't grow on trees. With the league changing the rules to favor offense over defense and awarding fouls at even the slightest contact, its no wonder Pop had gotten more offense-oriented the past years. Putting up a tough D is still important but you need younger, bigger, quicker, longer players w/c the Spurs don't really have with the exception of GHill.

Dude Bosh will be highly sought after by the Spurs and the Mavs and rest of the league.
If you added Bosh to the Spurs along with Duncan, Parker and Ginob you win the le. Period.

IF the Mavs added Bosh in place of Damp they win the le as well. Bosh is a difference maker no doubt.

Man we must need a life talking about the 1st & 2nd grade days. That is going way back. I was in love with females all the back to my Kindergarten days. I'd chase them and then they'd chase me trying to knock my lights out by hitting me on the head with a book and yelling "Teacher, he was looking up my dress"!
