Give Jeff his props. He called the Hornets a fluke.
I thought they were a fluke as well. If I recall Vegas gave them 3rd highest preseason le odds behind Lakers/Celtics.
I just didn't get it. One great player, a mediocre PF, and then a bunch of aging jump shooters with no bench? Not even CLOSE to a championship formula
And they'll be worse next year.
"regression to the mean" hit them like a mother er this year.
I've never seen a bench filled with more scrubs on a team. If cp3 or west are sitting out they are no better then the Clippers.

I hope they build a solid team for CP3 in the near future. It sucks watching great young players rot in bad situations.
I guess Chris Paul shouldn't have signed that 5 year contract
Wasn't it a 3 year extension? Either way, I always think it's smart to wait till your final season to extend that contract.
lol at the fact that JR Smith could be doing that for the Hornets right now.
yea my bad. And a player option in 2012.
Good luck with the Nuggets.
lol 0-4 against them this year
The Clippers are better than that!
lol gone fishin
The Hornets this year simply aren't the same. Injuries, inconsistent play, and a lack of a bench is what done them in. They can rebound next year if they actually get players who can create their own shots. Also, fire Byron Scott. He is useless.
Sadly most likely neither will happen cause they can't swallow Scotts contract and they're probably going to be trading away players not adding them due to economy.
