A person with his at ude would never get picked for a jury. I suspect I would never get picked either.
so he still had to go spend a day in court talking to the judge.
I'm thinking the citizens of Montana don't get out very often.
Lack of faith in the jury system is legitimate excuse.
Kind of like proving conscientious objector status to avoid combat though.
If I ever get picked to be a potential juror in a drug case, I plan on telling them in advance that I will vote for acquittal no matter the presented evidence. Which I think is okay. This guy seems a bit over the top, but potential jail time? That would've been a bit over the top too. I'm glad it worked out in the end and that the Smoking Gun picked it up so we could all get a good chuckle.
Why tell them? Just lie and then acquit. Go jury nullification!lol
