There's three Malik threads with basically the same message started since last night. PLEASE place any new thoughts on Malik in one of these threads. It clutters the forum to keep starting topics on the same thing.

ya everyone needs to get over the Malik trade. It's already been done and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
I'm not saying anyone has to get over .. obviously people still have a lot to say about it. But just consolidate your thoughts.
I don't mind the three that are up. But that's enough. Any other thought about Malik can be posted in one of the three.

I'd like to file a complaint about Jim jumping the gun on claiming the Malik trade costing us a le...as the leading opponent of the Malik trade I had been gradually building up to making that claim, in a proffessional manner, while Jim was still off skiing...and then he just waltzes in and claim jumps, setting himself up to be the first to claim "I told you so" and earn a coveted kluby...I think it was a classless move by CS50 that stole the intellectual property of myself...he cut in line.... and would like to request that his thread be deleted. Thank you.
This was a note from Kori,...and not a 4th Malik topic about the same topic about which Jim first told us so.
I know alot of SPURS fans loved Malik,but when he was not playing or just sucked, alot of people in this forum would just come out and say get rid of his ass he needs to be traded if he is going to be in the doghouse.now he gets traded and its the worst thing the SPURS do,you people need to stop passing the blamed on the malik trade of how the spurs are playing.The SPURS just plain SUCKED the past 2 games.But my money is still on the SPURS in the playoffs,nobody can beat them 4 out of 7.

All I have to say is when the SPURS traded Malik, they sold the heart and soul of the SPURS. True, Malik didn't get the minutes, but he was our wide-body, and rebounder. Just like Avery Johnson motivated players, so did Malik in his own little way. Right now, the players are dragging. I can see Malik lifting the players' spirits without Tim or Manu being there. The games we lost was by the slimmest of margins, and were winnable. By trading Malik, GOD does not like ugly. I pray that our SPURS step up to the plate and win the rest of the games to prove the nay sayers wrong.

finally our spurs have some real challenges....i can only hope the team can come together and develop an underdog edge that takes them all the way back....Pop has to get the injured healthy and get the healthy to fight and scrap and try to make .500 without TD...
if we drop below #4 and are not gonna have a healthy TD for round 1, then i'll start to worry....
I'm not sure if it cost us the le yet or not so I was hedging. But the right to claim it was mine based on all the 10 page threads where I have been battling Rose haters while Jim was out there taking it easy. Right now it does look bleak but once Manu regains his ability to impact a game and Duncan comes back I'm not sure if anyone is strong enough to stop us no matter how good Malik might have been or no matter how bad Nazr might suck.

have you seen the workers at malik's lately...the fire is gone...nobody is hustling, and his mama sprained an ankle slipping on a piece of sliced steak...the trade ramifactions are being felt everywhere.....
