    Wouldn't count Orlando or Boston out. With Howard, it could cause Cleveland some matchup problems. Boston is Boston...they fight. Not putting Cleveland in the Finals yet..same thing with LA and Denver. If Denver gets hot..they're going to be hard to beat. Don't underestimate the value of Carmelo and what Chauncey brings to that team. And did you guys stop and think maybe the NBA wants to see the two biggest draft picks in 2003 go at it in the Finals? Carmelo vs. Lebron would be fun to watch. We'll see...

    Cavs. Cavs will win because they're the best team in the NBA right now. They will also win because Lebron winning will make Stern and the NBA more money. Lebron is a young great player who probably hasn't reached his prime yet. Kobe is a rapist and he's not getting any younger. Besides, no one likes it when rapists win.

    Actually, truthfully, the NBA will make a LOT more money if the Lakers win. Cleveland's market is MUCH smaller than LA. But that's not the factor here...Truth be told, these are the two best teams in the league right now. It will be a battle. If they both end up in the Finals, I'll watch. Not saying they will..I don't think Denver, Orlando, or Boston can be written off yet.

    I'm going with Lebron. He's not a rapist and is harmless. I can't say the same for Kobe. I do think that the NBA will make a lot of money with the Lakers and Cavs in the Finals but I don't think it will be a ratings orgasm-fest. The Lakers and Celtics were in the Finals last year and the ratings improved but it wasn't a huge improvement. The ratings only improved because it was L.A. and Boston in the Finals and the ratings for the Finals sucked ass from 2003 to 2007. The ratings for a Lebron and Kobe Finals will probably be better than last year's Celtics vs. Lakers matchup but I don't think it will be a huge improvement. People don't want championships anymore. The only le game or championship that people still watch is the Super Bowl. There are more people who don't give a about the NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, and World Series than people who do give a about them.
