I'm pretty sure the rules go both ways. Leyland is exactly right in that situation and, for that reason, I'd expect that Leyland's ejection will be rescinded. I'd think that the umpire will face some sort of discipline, too, because he touched Ordonez twice.
I think the Twins' guys are right: if you don't want them touching you, don't touch them. Had Ordonez done the exact same thing to Schrieber, there's no doubt he'd have been ejected; the umpires can't have it both ways. The fact that Schrieber was actually pushing Ordonez in the back to move him out of the box -- however slight the push might have been -- is ridiculous.
The ump has gone on to apologize today.
