Dr. Buss isn't the richest guy in the world and with the contracts that he gave these 2 stiffs, what does that mean for the likes of Odom and Ariza?
The Lakers are so SEVEN SEASONS AGO and after this playoffs, I'm going to start to call them 8 seasons ago.
He sure as seems like the richest guy in the world the way he treats that payroll.
My guess is that coaching staff loves Ariza so much so he resigns regardless for a maxed out MLE like Walton did, Odom resigning is contingent on them winning a le.
If they don't win it all this year it'll be very interesting to see what changes Mitch makes. This is the 2nd season in a row where an undersized high energy hustle power forward has killed them in the playoffs. He'll eventually figure out that his team needs its own Leon Powe and Carl Laundry.
