Two conditional first round picks?

ESPN's bottom line was reading that San Antonio had traded Malik Rose and two conditional first round picks for Nzar Mohommed. Can someone explain the conditions of the two picks. Is it based on playing time? Is it based on if we win the championship? Please help.

Conditional picks are usually kept by the team that traded them if they are very low in the lottery. Since Spurs are not going to "do a Lakers" and get into the pingpong balls they will lose picks.
Which is what they want, they did not want the obligated salary!
