boo hoo - Spurs without Duncan, Houston without McGrady. Let the battle begin.

NEW ORLEANS - The Houston Rockets' hopes for home-court advantage in the postseason may have been dealt a serious blow.
All-Star guard Tracy McGrady suffered a strained right hip in Houston's 81-68 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Friday and is listed as questionable for the Rockets' game at San Antonio on Sunday.
While playing defense, McGrady jumped and landed awkwardly with just 3:19 gone in the first quarter. He was helped off the floor by teammates and went for X-rays, which were negative.
"Obviously, it's a big blow to us," said Rockets guard David Wesley, who scored 15 points. "We need to pick up his scoring, pick up his shots and pick up his rebounds. Then it becomes about focus."
Despite the victory, the Rockets trail idle Dallas by 3 1/2 games for fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The top four teams earn home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Brent's MPG is up to 20 now, and will probably see a lot more minutes today.
Jon's MPG is 23, but with Tracy out or limited, we should see them both on the court more at the same time.
Brent's cooler, he has more hair!
But Jon's obviously the "hotter", more demonstrative player.

Jon was 0-6 last game!
Will he "explode" today?
I wish TMac would play. The Rockets are 4-0 when Ryan Bowen starts. He is a great shooter on that team, and if SA does not pay attention to him or the relax w/o TMac in there, Ryan wil make them pay dearly.
I would rather have a weakened TMac any day.
Hey Jim how many 3 pointers do you predict for Barry? I say he goes 4-5 Bank on it.
Rockets have lost 14 in a rowat sa since a 103-94 victory on April 20, 1997
When the SPURS are kicking some but today I bet that jon and sura will get T-UP sometime during the game they are a bunch of cry babies when they are losing.SPURS BY 20+
I am on my way to the game. I will deliver Rasho some balls. He can borrow mine for the game.
Sequ is a loser, loser??????
Uh... okay..... thanks for the monument.
Yardbird.
^^^LOL. Sequ, I don't know why people find you annoying. I think you're posts are entertaining!
I still don't see the Spurs winning against Houston. It'll be a tough game. We would need Manu, Tony, AND Barry to have good games and our big men to do some rebounding and defending on Yao.
Tmac jogged out with the rest of the team, he looked fine. They're saying he'll play. That doesn't bode well.
WTF it looks like Sequ really brought balls for Rasho!!!![]()
it might just be that 2 tiny pairs together make ONE
yyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww
and had we made those 4 layups!!
JUUOT please call TP and wake him up! He missed 3 layups already.![]()
Marks stealing minutes from Nazr ?
Spurs lead 39-36 at the half.
Parker needs to have a big 2nd half for the Spurs to be able to win.(0-5 from the field).
Javies cost Spurs at least 5 points. He is a terrible ref, him and Nies.
He's trying to hard for Eva Longoria who is in the house.....should have #$%^ before the game.

Spurs are missing open shots. Houston is playing good D, but I'm not referring to contested shots. They are blowing open 15 footers. No one is attacking the rim except Manu.
popovich needs to tell parker a few things at the halftime..
Time to put Parker's picture on a milk carton.
