They don't have enough offensively and I argued that, but everybody countered my argument with "Defense wins championships."
Many people didn't buy the hype.

Many people didn't buy the hype.
The problem is that they didn't play lockdown D like some championship teams do.
Dallas in 2007 has a good case to make for that le
Just bad matchups, just like the dallas series in 2007.
no. They played garbage against good teams, and they would have been owned by the Lakers in four.
When was the last time the best team in the NBA was a second from being swept?
The Cavs were sub .500 vs Boston,Orlando and Lakers in the regular season.
I dont know about that but I never believed in them or the magic either without Jameer ...But Magic proved me wrong Cavs could not.
As for the cavs I told many in here it was fool's gold!
Many in here are fans of Western teams and KNOW that the West is tougher than the East ...but all i heard was how the Cavs would destroy the Lakers if we met in the Finals ...because they play Spur level defense taught by Pop to Brown ...this Cavs team? Really the same team we swept, and Magic took 3 out of 4 will beat the Lakers or any WC camp?
Boston may have even beat Cavs ...with KG it would of been easy ...
The Cavs dominated Boston at home without KG....don't think they had a chance.
I love how the dude in the suit took a peek and just looks the other way when he realizes it was LeBron.

I think the Shaq/Kobe/Peyton/Malone Lakers were the most ovverated team of the decade.
i thought the mavs were the biggest choke artist team
theres a few, even the 03/04 fakers is bs with the crap they pulled that year
You wouldn't do the same thing? I would seriously run away if I say a pissed off LBJ kicking over trash cans and , the man is scary huge.
08-09 Hornets most overrated team of decade. 3rd highest odds to win le in preseason according to Vegas, couldn't even crack 50 wins and lost by ing 58 in the playoffs.
2004 lakers

look at malone, trying to ride the shaq-kobe gravy train and still failed.
this was the year that Kobe and Shaq fued reached an all time high
I think this can qualify but they did make it to the finals and were three wins away from winning it all. Some of these other teams lost in the first round and most didn't even make it to the finals. That Laker team was a complete hyped up mess, that's for sure.
2003-2004 Indiana Pacers
At least they could have given Detroit a scare, unlike the 2004 Lakers.
2007 Golden State Warriors would be my take.
That Lakers team made it to the Finals, though. Plus, Malone was hurt. I still don't think they would have beaten Detroit, though.
