Thanks bro I found it right before you replied. Im downloading a game right now.
my roomate just got his updated two weeks ago. you should have a giganews account, newsleecher, and check binsearch.info for releases. Torrent sites aren't good enough for files of that size.
xbox360iso.com is not a torrent site, it offers rar files via direct links and is very fast. Last night I was downloading files at almost 2mb's per second with a paid account on megaupload.com
Giga is $25/mo with 200 days of binary retention. You can just create .nzb's right off binsearch.info, open them with newsleecher. It's easy. I can guarantee you anything on that site was posted to the newsgroups at least 12 hours earlier. newsgroups aren't in any danger of being randomly shut down either.
newsgroups >> sites
You should check out ngroups. $12 a month for 278 days of retention (their goal is to reach 400 days soon).
yall know of anyone locally who will mod a 360 the right way?
I know cats offer on craigslist but would prefer a referal
same here.
You can do itself if you read some tutorials and you're comfortable with it. Basically all it's modding is your DVD drive by flashing the firmware. All you need is a SATA card.
This is the guy I used. Quick work, no problems and he walked me through choosing the right firmware for the time I modded.

I used his services about 3 weeks ago. I remember it was right before the UFC game came out.
hopefully i'm not brickin' my 360 right now...![]()
yeah yeah i'm the ! haha
in' breeze.
where's my members only jacket at?
easiest thing to do since... well... uh... it's just easy to mod.
You have no idea how hard I ing laughed when you said 2mb's a second.
Thanks for that.
What are you guys paying for mods? I have a spare 360 sitting around that I might consider modding.
You mean to take to someone? Don't pay any more than 40 bucks. You should find people that charge 30.
I could probably do it myself, but I only have laptops in the house so I might not have the best hardware to do it, but who knows because I do have a lot lying around.
You need a desktop to do it.
The thing I read says some Hitachi drives will work with a SATA to USB adapter.
i opened my old pc up and just connected the sata to the drive but then again i have a samsung... the other drive the new benq or whatever you need a probe. mine i did in like 5 minutes. works flawlessly still and it's been like 2 months now.
I have a samsung, too.
I never read up on the others.
i had to because my buddy has the newest 360 with that benq drive... we tried making the probe from capacitors and whatnot but it never worked. he ended up purchasing a probe for like $12 online and when it got here we were done in 5 minutes.
