Nothin against Howard but most of his blocks come from him just drifting around not actually playing anyone. Hardly even do you see him actually take on a full speed guy 1 on 1 like this. Instead, he usually waits on the back side without the shooter ever even knowing he's there.
To say that Howard is as athletic as this is pretty insulting. Just try to imagine Howard trying to pull this off and you'll laugh. And I don't care what you say he was one of the best at pulling off the up and under and for those who think it's not that hard to pull off then why wouldn't there be more people doing it today? Just because his pure athleticism over shadowed his post game doesn't mean that there wasn't a REALLY good post game present
