I anticipate a Brazil-Spain final. Spain comes as the number 1 team in the world (According to FIFA ranking), but Brazil has been playing great in the South American qualifiers for the World Cup... My pick is Brazil to win the tournament... what about yours?

Brazil 2 - 1 Egypt so far. Egypt playing a pretty solid game so far. Nice goal by Kaka too

USA is playing one man down but scored on a penalty kick.

USA had some good plays but missed some key opportunities to score. Being one down made it more difficult.
Brazil got the W, but wasn't as impressive as expected; Spain was just amaizing on their debut; and once again Italia was helped by the referees with that Red card on USA.
Algeria beat Egypt last week 3-1 for the WC qualifiers
Does that mean we are better than Brazil ?

Brazil won against USA 3-1. USA has virtually no chance of advancing to the semifinal round, unless Egypt beats Italy.
I don't know that the USA is quite to that level, but the Yanks definitely appear to be little more than paper tiger -- still.
