The Lakers needed a non-call on basket interference at the end of Game 2 and a non-call on Kobe elbowing Jameer Nelson in Game 4.

The Magic is pathetic...refs were all over thier nutz and they failed.
I hope the magic win this series, but if they cant , i hope it ends in 5 so all those bandwagon lakers fans cant celebrate victory in own building, which might get burned down if they do win series.

You're an idiot, Kobe got fouled by Pietrus in a jumpshot near the end of the 4th, so bad calls were going both ways. Even with that, FTs, TOs, and terrible execution on both ends of the floor did the magic in, not the refs.
no Ft for lakers in the 4th. magic didnt get called for a foul until the final minute of the 4th. they had about 18 ft in the 4th. they were handed the game. the lakers took it
Jeff is right, this series is rigged since game one and has already been totally screwed by the refs. the two compe ors are both great and there won't be any loser generated from these two teams after the series ended, Magic and Lakers are both winners while the only loser of this series and the entire 08-09 season is just the league and David Stern.

If there is one thing people rooting against the Lakers can't complain about tonight, it was the officials. I don't like to complain about the officials, but they were turrible tonight.
You can't be serious. The refs obviously handed the Lakers the game by handing out 28 fouls to them compared to the Magic's 21. And no doubt they tampered with the ball when handing it to the Magic 37 times at the free throw line to the Lakers 20.
These rigged games are really going to taint the 15th

Bull thread, right before Kobe elbowed Jameer Fisher got called for a push in the back when Howard was pushing Gasol even harder in the back at the same time. So many bad calls on both sides there is no way you can pin this on officiating.

Refs were awful tonight. I think the Lakers got the worst of it...pains me to say that. But, that elbow by Kobe was clearly a foul.
The LAKERS D'd up their shooters in the 4th and OT and the MAGIC went fetal.

Magic shot like 20 free throws in the 4th quarter...not even sure if the Lakers got any free throws.
This game was their's to lose, and the Magic lost it. Can't really call this one on the refs.
If I actually thought the NBA was rigged, I'd say the Lakers won in spite of the refs because most calls were going the Magic's way. But of course I don't believe that conspiracy/rigged crap.
