    The internet right now is over 200,000,000 terabytes large and growing exponentially if you are looking to download the whole thing. That is using old figures too.

    I imagine that it grows faster than you could install the latest hard drives to index it with.

    I'm not sure about exponentially. It's definitely growing geometrically, and actually probably faster now than ever with the era of personal movies and youtube streaming video being uploaded at ridiculous rates.

    Edit: It grows exponentially relative to one bit as can be extrapolated from hard disk size increases and bandwidth increases over the years.
