Can't meet his price.
Would you take him back? I remember him sucking as a Spur. He seems to have gotten much better.
Can't meet his price.
Depends on the price. The way he's played the last couple of years, I doubt that the Spurs can really match the price.
Would I? yes.
Would he? Not for what we've got to offer. He didn't opt out just so that he could take someone's MLE.
Why in the could he NOT hit the side of an aircraft carrier when he was a Spur. Hedo would clank wide open 10ft. jump shots.![]()
Turkey is a better shooter off the dribble than he is a spot up shooter. Not what we need. We'd be better off offering the MLE to Odom anyways.
well what? Spurs can't afford him.
It's a moot point anyway. The Magic FO has already committed to exceeding the cap threshold, if necessary, in order to keep him. Seeing as how they can pay more money than any other team. Spurs don't have a chance.
He's 30 now. No more retreads.
That's a negative.
I don't know. It happens to guys when they come to the Spurs. Finley was a pretty consistent scorer in Dallas, came to the Spurs, and his game disappeared. (Probably due to age, but who knows.) Usually the first year guys struggle, and like icrook said, he's more of a scorer off the dribble and at the time the Spurs needed someone to be a spot up shooter. It really doesn't fit Turkeyglue's game.
Sure he could come in and be both the long 3 and the back up PG that the Spurs have pined for.
yeah he is so worse then most spur players![]()
How would he help the Spurs? Who would he replace?
He would look great at the starting SF position.
This is nowhere near the issue. Hedo is better than every wing on this team not named Manu - and by a longshot. , I'd take his defense over Finley's for example.
We'll just never be able to afford him.
Orlando overpaid for him and now he wants more? Mason for the next two years will be a better over-all player than turkey-glue!
Hedo would be by far the best perimeter defender on the team outside of Bowen.
But ain't happenin'.
if you care about the salary cap, it's possibly the worse timing to sign him.
Plus he's 30
I don't follow the magic so I'm not familiar with the position he plays so hence the question. Perhaps it was more appropriate to ask what would he bring to the Spurs.
Thanks for the info.
Thanks!![]()
would be a godsend but it's not gonna happen
He's going to get overpaid..
