Sorry for all the recent polls, but I played poker with friends last night and we got in a huge argument over whether you would want Trevor Ariza or Mo Williams on your team. I said Ariza because of his ability to contribute in ways other than scoring and because of Mo Williams' inconsistency.

to get grass stains out of white shorts You use a 1/4 cup of dish washer granules and 1/2 cup of Clorox, put in sink, put enough really hot water in to cover what you are going to soak--stir until the detergent dissolves, put your shorts in and let set a bit, dunk around, do not splash the water on your good clothes it will spot them. i do this with all stained kitchen towels and cloths and socks and undies, it takes it all out. Rinse at least twice and you should have snowy white again

How long have you been waiting to post that?

For the record, I found it underwhelming particularly because of all the hype it was getting. Wasn't bad, but not great either.

This is a strange poll. It would depend on your team needs. I voted Ariza for the Spurs, but I do not feel Ariza is the more talented player overall. He fits better in SA all scenarios considered, but Mo is just as good if not better.

If you are looking at the best player, I take Mo, if you are looking at team needs it can be either and if you are looking at defense I take Ariza.

I like the defensive stopper who puts up better numbers in the playoffs and makes key plays for his team down the stretch over the defensive liability who chokes in the playoffs and makes dumb decisions.

If the Cavs had Ariza instead of Mo Williams, they get by Orlando.

Lebron gets to guard Courtney Lee instead of Turkoglu, so he's expending less energy on defense and would have been better down the stretch on offense. We saw how well Ariza defended Turk in the finals.

Delonte West would be able to post Alston up at will and would defend him WAAAAAY better than Williams did.

idk why Cavs fans hate Gibson so much but he would get more PT and he has proven an ability to hit big shots in playoff games. The cavs would also have more lineup flexibility and overall better matchups. Ariza would also not force up nearly as many shots as Williams.

Spurs fans will tell you that means nothing. Stephen Jackson did the same thing in 2003 and bolted. His intention to stay in LA isn't proven until he turns down some ridiculous contract offered by a lesser team. I think he will stay, just sayin' nothing is for sure.

Back when Jackson was on the Spurs he wasn't a character issue. I think being with certain teammates on the Pacers made him crazy. Since he left Indiana he's been fine to the point where Nelson picked him as captain.

Of course nothing is for sure until the contract is signed. Even then, sometimes its not. Heck, Tim Duncan staying in San Antonio in 2000 instead of going to Orlando wasn't for sure either. But it's a very big likelihood Ariza stays in LA. I'm sure he said that with every intention of working out a deal to remain a Laker.
