Looking at his career stats I wouldn't say he's a Laker killer...but then not many are.

Ironically enough, the team he's played the worst against for his career is the Spurs. He's got his lowest PPG and FG% against SA.

And that's saying something, because in the actual games he hasn't played poorly and he's been someone they had to work on containing(usually getting Bowen on him).

Jefferson is a lot more of a physical player than he gets credit for being also. He's got kind of a linebacker mentality, has a very physical offensive game at times, and I'm thinking that's definitely something this team could use.

Richard Jefferson is a lot like...Sean Elliott.

Plus, it's important to analyze those numbers carefully; Jefferson will now play for a much better team, he'll benefit from the attention TD, TP and Manu will be getting, and play with less pressure as he won't have to be the #1 or # 2 option.
Plus, he knows he won't have to worry about facing the SPurs now, so mentally it's a big boost of confidence

The dude is huge, and doesn't look like your typical SF - scrawny, lengthy and a scrapper. Instead, he looks like he's a freaking center from the 90s.
