The Portland TrailBlazers agreed to trade the 24th, 56th pick in the 2009 NBA draft, and worst of their second round picks in 2010, to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday for the 22nd pick in Thursday's NBA draft, according to a league source.
The trade has been agreed to in principle by the two teams. It should be finalized by the league office later today.

They want casspi?
All it means is that Dallas thinks they can get their target at 24. Doubt the other picks will ever make the roster, so what is this about?
Spurs traded for Richard Jefferson. Today the Mavs answered back.
With one swift move, the Mavs are a force to be reckoned with yet again
Time to start mentioning us in the same breath as LA, Orlando, Cleveland and Boston again.
Lakers need to do something now.
Isn't this the kind of trade you make during the draft? Like, after you've ensured your target is still available? Just seems like it would have made more sense for the Blazers to let the Mavs select their guy at 22 THEN do the trade.
Blazers traded three picks to move up two spots? Am I missing something?
well they might have to next week if odom ends up walking
It's the Batum situation all over again. They're hopping infront of Sacramento so they can grab Casspi.
lakers don't need to do anything unless odom starts getting $10 million offers from other teams. that's pretty likely but lakers right now are matched up with the spurs talent wise.
There's got to be a financial angle here somewhere.
