Ni idea. Lamentablemente no lo conozco todavía. Ya lo veré, pero descuento que va a estar en el roster fijo del equipo.

Se menciona la llegada de un C FA, puede ser Sheed o Mc Dyess, entre otros, con ello TD tendría verdadera ayuda bajo los tableros y podría llegar entero a los playoffs. Si tuvieses que elegir: ¿Sheed, Mc Dyess, Birdman, Powe, Gortat?
A Rasheed. Porque de rival no lo aguanto, pero de compañero sería muy divertido. Cualquier vendría bien, necesitamos algún grande y creo que todos son buenos nombres.

Manu llevás varios días ya en Argentina y te quedan algunos varios más. Si bien estás de vacaciones, te quería preguntar, ¿cómo te sentís entre nosotros, acostumbrado a vivir en EEUU? ¿Cómo es para vos hacerlo en esta Argentina tan complicada, si te dan ganas de volver a San Antonio lo antes posible o la pasás realmente bien aquí.
La paso realmente bien, pero llega un momento sobre el final de mis estadías largas que tengo ganas de volver a la tranquilidad de mi casa en SA. En Bahía la paso realmente muy bien, pero no estoy acostumbrado a pasar mucho tiempo y llevo un ritmo de vida bastante intenso cuando estoy.

Si no, te doy la idea: un canal deportivo que transmita NBA, más Liga Nacional, TNA y a la Selecciones juveniles, tomando en cuenta que está apunto de jugarse un mundial U19 para el cual nuestra Selección se viene preparando hace 3 años. Sí, voy a estar acá en Bahía porque la Selección va a estar jugando en mi ciudad, así que acá estaré. No hay planes por el momento. Algo siempre sale a último momento.

Vi que te reuniste con el Puma… ¿Cómo está él? ¿Ya se adaptó a su nueva vida lejos del básquet y en SU lugar (Bahía), SU casa?
Adaptarse al retiro no debe ser fácil para nadie. Está muy bien, lo veo seguido.

¿Nos hicieran a nosotros? No, para nada! Un estadio se debe hacer para la gente de la ciudad donde se construya. Es una gran ventaja y un lugar de gran interés social, deportivo y económico. Cada gran ciudad debería tener un estadio para 10mil personas por lo menos, pero en nuestro país no es fácil.

Y en el caso de que este sueño se pudiese concretar ¿Te gustaría que ese estadio le pusieran de nombre GENERACIÓN DORADA o le pondrías otro nombre junto con tus compañeros y ex compañeros que pasaron por esta Selección durante estos años?
Yo quiero que se hagan! Después que le pongan como quieran… La lógica dice que le pongan nombre de marca, porque es difícil mantenerlos y significa un ingreso interesante, AT&T, Pepsi, United, American Airlines, Toyota, son algunos ejemplos.

Pop lo dice mas enfáticamente. Nosotros también lo hablamos pero un poco menos que él.

How's your rehab going and how is the ankle feeling? Do the Spurs have you on any kind of rehab program and even if you're in Argentina are they able to keep up with you? Are you going to have to come down to San Antonio to do it? How do you think you'll be for this season?
All good here. I’m healed, so slowly getting back in shape and trying not to overdo it till I get back there. Those were the instructions from the franchise.

Having gone through a tough time with your own injuries what do you think of Yao's injury and how do you think he's feeling? Poor guy
Really tough. Gotta be difficult to overcome.

What do you think about the addition of Richard Jefferson to your team and the loss of Bruce and your guy Fabri. Do the Spurs ever tell you what they are wanting to do and see what you think?
Sometimes I hear things, sometimes I don’t. It depends. RJ’s addition is a great one, great guy, great player. It makes us more difficult to guard. On the other hand, Bruce and Fab are really gonna be missed, we share lots of things, great ones and tough ones.

They ask him about what he thinks about adding RJ. He says that it should make the team harder to guard as a whole with RJ as an added weapon. But he also says the most important thing is that he is all about winning. He says that Blair will be on the team. He said that Finley had already told him he would be staying with the team.
