That's true..but I would be really surprised if all of them aren't better than what Oberto, Ime, and Vaughn gave us last season..
just to expand on what Solid D pointed out in one of the other threads..
obviously things can change, but just looking at it from right now..
we lost 6 players(Bowen, Thomas, Oberto, Gooden, Vaughn, and Udoka) with an average age of 33 years old, and added 8 guys(Jefferson, McDyess, Blair, McClinton, Hairston, Gist, Mahinmi, and Haislip) to the roster that will have a shot at making it on the team..the average age of the 8 guys is 25 years old..
so not only did this team get significantly better, the front office has given the team a good chance to get significantly younger..
great to see..

Well, they didn't give us much last year. It's a sure bet that they would have given us even less this year.
The youth movement is underway. Good to see.
I am sure Blair wouldn't be worse than Oberto contribution wise. As for Bowen, he has fallen out of the rotation already last season. Since we added RJ, no matter if Gist and McClinton is a bust or not, we'll still be significantly better than last season.![]()
The whole point of youth is to get guys that will have a shot at contributing..youth is always a question mark, which is why I said "shot at making the roster"..you can't have young players making the team if you don't have young players, and we finally do now, which is the point of this thread..
we clearly saw the difference energy, athleticism, and age made against us last year, even when it was just bench players..see: Ryan "scrub" Hollins..
Exactly !
Nice thread Harlem Heat.
