Gawd what an excellent film! Sorry I'm not correlating it's place in this forum at this moment, but I know for sure I'll be re-watching it (for about the 20th time at least), this weekend

"Breaker Morant" was the first film I saw by him. And I only became interested in it because it was at a time I was totally into another Australian director, Peter Weir and his amazing "Gallipoli". After BM I was checking for more Beresford films and was surprised to find he was the man behind "Tender Mercies", "Driving Miss Daisy", and one of my guilty pleasures, "Rich in Love". I haven't kept up with him, but most recently (2-3 years ago) I did make it a point to catch "And Starring Pancho Villa As Himself" on HBO; I was probably one of the few who liked it
