    What I like most about this video is the defense and the steals on Bryant. I remember that game and I recall that he also draw an offensive foul on Kobe on the first possesion he guarded him.

    Kobe getting owned on Manu's first game... I remember reading somewhere that Kobe ended up asking Bruce: "Who is this guy" and Bruce said he came from Italy so then Kobe would try to practice his Italian with him

    You're right, he injured his ankle against germany in the semis of the FIBA world championship prior the NBA season. And then he reinjured it against Houston during the regular season.
