The United Nations recently issued a poll to its member nations: "Please give us your honest opinion about the lack of food in the rest of the world." The poll was a total failure because nobody understood it.

The Russians couldn't understand "Please."
The Swiss couldn't understand "give."
The Italians couldn't understand "honest."
The Chinese couldn't understand "opinion."
The Europeans couldn't understand "lack."
The Africans couldn't understand "food."
And the Americans couldn't understand "rest of the world."
