DeJuan signed contract in the Casino Food Court (The Palms).
He's excited about the season and loves the reaction from the fans and how supportive spurs fans have been.
I think this year is gonna be something else because of Twitter..
There are a lot of nba players with twitter accounts.. Just reading their thoughts is gonna
make it a very interesting year.

He was pretty excited and seemed almost giddy when talking to Minnix.
When asked if he had some extra incentive to play well in these SL games. He said, "No, I'm just doin' what me do. Just playin' me. I just thank the team for giving me a chance to achieve my goals. All the Spurs experience will just help make me better.
He listed off all the new additions and then added "me and Jack".
It was a quick interview but he closed with:
I love the fans. They are real supportive of the Spurs. I love y'all already. I just thank y'all for having me on the show.
He is so excited and happy to be a signed Spur that he sounds like a kid at Christmas who just found out Santa left him a new bike, new train set and his first Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun. He is going to be a great asset to the Spurs both on the court and in the locker room.
Welcome to San Antonio, DuJan!![]()
Thanks for the recap. He really seems like Spurs material.

He's proven he can back up his words (In SL, at least.)
Can't wait 'til he punks Thabeet again and then punks the whole of the NBA![]()
He's going to be so excited when he sees Timmy back in San Antonio. Then reality will sink in when Duncan looks him straight in the eyes and says, "where's my donuts?"
Thanks for the recap, Solid D. Blair taking the disappointment of dropping to the second round in stride played a big role in the Spurs giving him that four year deal. If he would have pulled a Chris Carrawell and whined about it constantly, the Spurs probably wouldn't have invested in him as much as they have.
Blair has handled it perfectly and the whole situation couldn't be much better right now.
Let's hope he stays healthy and can continue his beastly play into the regular season![]()
What? the Spurs couldn't afford to at least send him to the buffet?
chris carrawell-what a typical dukie (failure in the nba)
I thought it was three years, so what were the final numbers?
Pages 6 & 7 have the four-year info.

Awww! Keep the spirit and drive up, DeJuan.
Congrats on signing his first endorsement deal. What is the Casino Food Court anyway?
Section on the right. It's by the Movie Theater located inside The Palms.

In case you haven't seen them, most of the hotels in Las Vegas have large casinos, some so large they have theatres and restaurants or eateries either encircling the casino or in a special food court like a mini-mall.
Thanks.. just had my coffee so brain starting to wake up.. misread the le and thought it was an endorsement deal but was actually referring to his contract with the Spurs.. hopefully when they sign his contract extension several years from now they'll upgrade the venue![]()
Solid D-cap.(See what I did there?
)
He's not the most articulate guy you're ever going to meet, which he seemed to acknowledge by pointing out how he's a rookie in more than one way and new to the interview/media process, but he's just a very genuine, gracious young fella'.
I was struck by how he kept on thanking Minnix for having him on the show and how thankful he was for all the love and support he's been getting from Spurs fans. Saying that they don't allow him to get down on his self.
The signing of the contract in the Palms Casino Food Court was freakin' classic. At least R.C. picked up the bill.
The mentioning of Jack did stick out to me, DeJuan expecting to be playing alongside of him this year, but I'm doubtful it means all that much.
He definitely sounded giddy with the realization of going to "the best team in the NBA" and the prospect of playing alongside all the great vets and newly acquired talent. Stating how happy he was knowing that he'd be playing with the Spurs for the next couple years.
Also, the way he said: "San Antonio here I come!" It just had to make you smile. It wasn't y or something he said because it seemed like the right thing to say, but it came across as a kid with the anticipation of Christmas Day.
Great kid.![]()
I wish I could see his face when he receives his first paycheck. I recall that GHill was overwhelmed the time he saw his first paycheck, probably the most money he'd ever seen in his life... priceless!
Blair is quite the an hesis of one Marty B
