Looking forward to seeing Ian get some burn.
I think everyone is waiting to see what Ian can do. Hopefully at the least he can come in for 15-20 mins to rebound and be a shot alterer.
He still looks pretty awkward on his low post moves, I wish Duncan would give him more tutelage to help polish that aspect of his game before the playoffs
I am hopeful fo this as well, but it seems a lot of Spurs fans are eager to see
him fail & be labeled a bust. I am pretty sure there are 29 other teams that
would love for the Spurs to lose interest in Ian. I have complete confidence in
the FO & I am sure that Ian is in the long term plan.
I love when hes talking about his triple double because of those 10 fouls in SL game 2. But I guess it is true. Still, those 16 rebounds were pretty nice despite all the fouling.
Hes played how many NBA games?Give the kid a full season with the Spurs
not the Toros.
To be able to learn from Duncan required Ian being with the team ALL the
time. He wasn't the last couple of years. He can no longer be sent to
the D league. He will be with the team from here on out. That means learning
from TD on a daily basis. He will be a rotation player this year.
I agree, but he does seem to draw a lot of fouls maybe for the same reason.
Ian as our starting center![]()
He needs to get more shots, and the refs need to stop calling him for every little ticky-tack foul..this is the last game, I'd like to see a lot more touches..
I'm glad hes gaining that confidence that he needs.
