manu will not win the championship if duncan does not come back unless big dog is his old self
Like I've said before. The Spurs feed off Manu and his energy more that any other player. Tonight was a prime example. Manu is going to take us to the Championship. Book it.
manu will not win the championship if duncan does not come back unless big dog is his old self
I hope Manu can get rested quick enough to be able to play the minutes he needs to play in the postseason. He's a huge factor in their success.
How much would you rest him in these final two weeks of the regular season?
if big dog can feel it
you play manu what he played tonight the rest of the way
I said Manu will TAKE US to the Championship. He'll need Duncan to win it.
Id try to win the game tommarow get 6 games ahead of Dallas, then go into full rest the starters mode.
Then when its time for playoff rosters
bench Wilks and Massenburg.
Big Dog now on the team has made the bench about 50 billion times better.
Kori, after the Dallas game, I think that an average of 25 mins a night until the playoffs is probably what I would do for Manu
Tonight was a good case of managing his minutes. 20-25 minutes tops in these last games, with a couple of sit outs on the back to backs.
I take it you really like him.Big Dog now on the team has made the bench about 50 billion times better.
He's going to need to make big adjustments not to foul. But if he can keep knocking down jumpers and hustle, he'll contribute nicely. He didn't look that out of shape.
No he didnt, I love the guy after tonight, I mean honestly,
take a second and think, the Spurs plucked for free a two time all star, whos best games were PLAYOFF GAMES
(BTW KORI i came to the game tonight and you werent there, I take it Services for TIMVP"s grandmother, Ill be at the game next tuesday, hope to see you guys there)
What I loved though, Glenn was wanting the ball, but he wasnt demanding it like Ron Mercer.
He acted totally cool with everything and during the game, he was intently listening to Budenholzer drawing up plays.
I love this pick up, and to be honest, I dont see Devin Brown coming back, Herniated Disks are MONTHS of rehab, not weeks.
He replaces Devin more than enough.
If I were the Spurs, Id honestly start talking multi year contract with the guy.
BTW,
Anyone see some corralations?
number 3, hits jumpers, has a tude.
considered an "anti-Spur"
Sequ.
you can rain on this guy;s and our parade al you want numbnuts, fact is, the Clippers are a decent team.
Plus he was hitting shots. Period. It couldve been Phoenix, Dallas, or Detroit, making shots is making shots.
Like I said, I hope the dog gets about 15 18 minutes tommarow.
In the playoffs??
Id play him with Barry and Udrih and Horry and Duncan.
The defensive SCHEMES will make up for the inadequecies.
Tpark, one word: Paragraphs. Try them out every once in a while and lay off the enter key.
Lets see what Manu does against Dallas before making up for 7 turnovers and a give away to lose the game only to be saved by Clutch Time Barry.
That's not the reason we weren't there. But yeah, I missed my second game of the seasonBTW KORI i came to the game tonight and you werent there, I take it Services for TIMVP"s grandmother, Ill be at the game next tuesday, hope to see you guys there
We'll see you at the next one.
I know it's easy to be excited about GRob, but one game doesn't seal his worth on this team. Hopefully he can keep it up (minus the fouls) and contribute against good teams and into the postseason. I really want him to be able to jump start his career ... and being in SA is a great opportunity for him.
Well the fouls? To be honest, a couple of them were ticky tack, lets be honest.
One was a total and complete hack across the arms. The 4th was totally bogus.
That doesnt bother me, if he does what he is told in the defensive schemes, and nails those jumpers, guarded and open, like he did tonight, then he is OK.
One game DOESNT, but, this game is almost a glimpse to what he can do, and lets be honest, the guy can fill it up quick.I really want him to jumpstart it too, and I hope that after this year the Spurs can resign him. Right now, its a toss up to who you keep, a young Devin Brown who now has a back problem, or a middle aged Glenn Robinson who has about 5 years left in him and about 15 a night.
Tough decision IMO.
Is this the same T-Park who was going to dump his season tickets?![]()
Glad you're on board with the move now. He looked great tonight except for the fouls. I love that Pop switched to a zone when he was in so Robinson wouldn't pass out.
Kori and LJ stayed home to allow me to cheat on Jess with a hot date.
Manu has proven enough you dumb . Go away.Lets see what Manu
Big Dog is the only one that needs to keep bringing it. Now with Ginobili not playing tommarow night, this opens the door for Barry and Big Dog to step up.
If he has a good stint with the Spurs right now, I think Glenn Robinson will demand a lot more money this summer than the Spurs can pay (unless they move someone). I'm not really worried about next year yet. I just want Duncan and Devin to get healthy and Manu to somehow get untired so they can make this le run.
Devin Im afraid is toast. Duncan Im hopefull for.
Manu?? God only knows. Right now its tought to say who you move, if Glenn turns into a stud so that you can keep him. Only guys that pop into my mind are either Rasho Nesterovic or Nazr Mohammed. They are the only guys that command 5 to 7 million.
Other problem is a team just "taking" them. Maybe Charlotte would, who knows.
You keep repeating that sentiment like it's wishful thinking. He's improved a lot in the last week or so, so I wouldn't write him off yet. Sean Elliott said tonight that he's "pain-free".Devin Im afraid is toast.
Do we know if he's traveling with the team tonight like Tim is?
I hope he is, but lets be honest, its a herniated Disk.
He could be pain free today, wake up tommarow and be bent over like a cherry street hooker all over again.
Backs are unpredictable. Thats why, Robinson getting run, is important.
He is toast IMO, because, he cant go back to being the same player, hes not gonna be able to drive to the hole recklessly and more than likely just will be off overall.
It's not exactly a herniated disc like David Robinson. It's inflammation of the nerve around the disc. He doesn't have any floating particles or other damage to the disc.
