    Anyone try it?

    http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/w...-speak/1336890

How do you follow up a game like Wii Sports? Still one of the platform's most popular les, it practically defines the universal, approachable appeal of the Wii itself. Nintendo opted to bundle the sequel, Wii Sports Resort, with its new accuracy-enhancing adapter, the MotionPlus, and 11 beach-themed sporting minigames. Out this week, the critics' verdict is in: it's a solid hit.

I want to get this but still haven't tried Wii Fit.

Just wondering if anyone in here has any thoughts.

I like the Wii but unfortunately it has not caught on to to mainstream as it should.

Did you go ahead and buy Sports Resort?

I think I will hold out on it, $50 for a glorified tech demo is too much for me.

As for the Wii not being mainstream? It has sold over 50 million units. It's the most "Mainstream" console of the current generation. The difference is, it's not as popular with the hardcore as the other two.

Can't they barely keep Wiis in stock? I think it has caught on pretty well.

I've heard it's an awesome game. Probably worth a rental or a buy.

I plan to buy this one, both for a good party game and to get the motion plus thingiebobber (does it count as a peripheral?), but probably not for a few months.

I know it's slow and late...

I haven't tried Resort yet, but I did buy motion plus to use with the EA tennis game... there was a bit of a learning curve to it, but once I figured it out, the game is an absolute blast and the controls are great.

My wife's little cousin got Wii Sports Resort. Honestly, I'm 29 years old and I think it's cool as . It's a LOT of fun. Played it so long I was sore as the next day. I was actually considering buying a Wii just for this game.
