Has anyone else here seen it? Pretty terrifying, I must say. Not surprised it came from a Brit, as they're much closer to a surveillance/police state than we are.

I think, if the movie says anything, it's that even if we have the ability to constantly monitor people, we don't have the right.

Also, that government screws stuff up.

Gilliam technically isn't a Brit, though I think he lives there full time.

    Agreed with the rest, though.

Good movie. Remember one or two nipple shots and a freaky plot.

Gilliam's best, IMO, and Pryce is outstanding. I also think Tom Stoppard worked on the screenplay. Haven't seen it in a long time, might add it to my DVD collection soon...

Yes he did. I did two plays in high school by Stoppard... Real Inspector Hound and After Magritte. Interesting plays.

I always enjoyed Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, as well as Arcadia and The Real Thing. Though I truly, truly hate Shakespeare in Love. Stoppard has done a lot of "script doctoring" throughout the years, probably makes a fair bit of money at it.
