I don't know if it's a true prank, but a Florida police department basically punk'd a woman they caught in a murder for hire sting operation. Rather than simply busting her they sent officers to her place who first played along and told her that her husband had been murdered, but then arrested her. I've heard of busts in cases like this dozens of times, but never quite like this. Maybe Alan Funt was reincarnated as the chief of the precint in Boynton Beach.
