Rage looks pretty awesome. Like Fallout 3 with better controls.

However, I doubt it will have the amazing story that FO3 has. If it does, potential GotY candidate.

It's also gonna be sweet to see what everyone does with this engine. It should be the standard for a while.

I am not so sure about that game. Looks derivative, like every other sandbox game up to date.

Please dont take that personally, not that you would, but you never know with gamers.

haha. I just enjoy the way iD engine games play and feel. They generally cater to 1v1 or team DM players, which isn't for everyone, but they're trying to cater to the masses a bit more with this one, I guess. Still the graphics look incredible, and the terrain is obviously massive. It will also work on ps3, wii, xbox and PC so the engine is pretty scalable. I am one of those people who think Carmac is a god and really can't do much wrong - been a fanboy since I first played doom 2 and quake on a coax LAN in 96 in the dorms.

Carmac is a God, no doubt. His legacy in gaming was signed, sealed and delivered 10+ years ago.

Dont get me wrong, I'll try it for sure, I just dont have very high hopes.

Looks Fallout-esque, which isn't a bad thing. I'll give it a try once it's out.

I hear you there too. I don't really play anything but Team Fortress 2, and would like a another solid option. But I'm very picky.
