I'm beginning to think that Alien Species in the movies that has the 1,000s of birth pods in their ship is us in the future.
"crazy " was my initial reaction.
That kind of stuff isn't usually planned. But I agree it's a risky roll of the dice. And I'm sure very heartbreaking when it doesn't work out.
Impressive
Oh, I know it's not. But going in to that type of fertility treatment you know your chances of having a large (3+) number of multiples is high. I just hope it doesn't become a media circus. Oh wait, it already is.
Octomom must be steaming with rage![]()
Irresponsible doctor and monitoring. And a sadly ignorant mother. I mean, positivity is all great, but there simply is not room in the uterus for 12 children to grow properly. And the demands on her body are enormous. There is no way natural birth is possible (and I'm about the biggest advocate of natural birth out there), and it will be shocking if she makes it to viability (and the babies are measuring big enough for viability) at 24 weeks. Which is still very limited odds of survival, let alone good physical and mental health.
She may need to put name tags on them.
Damn imagine how much she will have to eat? And she will resembile a elephant not to mention the 3 days spent in labor delivering all those babies! ing insane!
