the office....sad to say it
As long as Steve Carrel is still on I will be addicted. I just wish they'd bring Jan back.![]()
Steve is still great, but the topics of the show haven't been good in a long time. I think the only way to save it at this point is to have Todd Packer be a regular
Is "jumped the shark" your phrase of the day, PS?![]()
Little known fact about Jump the Shark. Jon Hein, a Howard Stern Show personality and staffer coined the term and created jumptheshark.com. He sold it to TV Guide last year for what is believed to be somewhere between 5-10 million.
Yea
So answer my question.![]()
I stopped after the first episode
But, I stopped watching Jon & Kate![]()
Desperate Housewives was actually a good show that first season then it just became stupid.

Scrubs HAD the last couple-a seasons...but then its FINAL season on ABC was excellent, sooo...
House jumped the shark in Season 4 and actually did it really really well, despite adhering to nearly every "shark-jumping" principle (new cast, death of a relatively major character, shift in dynamics of the show away from medicine). In fact, it might be a better show now than in Seasons 1-3.
simpsons... uh after season 8..9 i think.
It picked up considerably in S3.
the world jumped the shark on the phrase jump the shard decades ago
The Closer
I read somewhere that the phrase came from an old episode of Happy Days where the Fonze jumped a tank of sharks on his motorcycle. Supposedly the worst ever Happy Days episode. Or something like that![]()
+1. I stopped watching after Lois Lane was added to the cast. It started getting to soapy for my taste.
No one thinks The Family Guy has jumped the shark yet?
I do.
