Answering another question about the summer of 2010, LeBron James said his loyalty is to Akron, Ohio, apparently drawing a distinction between his hometown and Cleveland. James said that he's looking forward to free-agency and acknowledged that he could end up playing in a different city.
"My loyalty is to Akron," said James. "I'm looking forward to this upcoming season, but I'm looking forward to the summer of 2010, too, to see what may happen. No matter what happens that summer, you know, I'm still here. I've got a nice big house here that I'm always coming back to. You know, I love this city and I'll always give back to this city no matter what my profession, if it takes me somewhere else."

King James will stay in Cleveland

Do you really think if he was going to stay, he would talk about maybe leaving when it's still a year till he would leave?

Well, even if he was planning to stay, I doubt he'd declare "I'm staying" in a contract year. He wants all the leverage he can get to force CLE management to build a contender around him.

    Too bad that ain't happening.

Lebron has become a real butthead, head and an oversized asshole! Why in the world would you want that loser to stay in Cleveland? The spoiled brat is in it for the $$$ and he could care less about you or any other Cavs fan. Let him growup elsewhere like Greece, Spain or Italy. Maybe even Afghanistan or Iran. Maybe Iraq would be best for the fart.

I think it's safe to assume that Shaq has no say in the situation. Even if the Cavs do win the 'ship this year, it won't be because Shaq took them there. He could have a solid year if he's healthy though because the East is so weak in the paint (aside from Howard and Garnett, of course).

I don't see the Cavs going anywhere until they get a distributing PG to run that offense. They were so stagnant in the ECF.

it wasn't that the PG was lacking.

the offensive scheme itself was horrible.
