Somebody needs to look it up. When was the last time a team won B2B 2OT's????
come on, you NBA historians, get to work!!![]()
The Grizzlies in 99 were the last team to do it.
Okay, so maybe it's not as so great a record as we first thought, then.
Well a Laker fan would put an * next to it since it occurred in the 99 season...haha
When was the last time a team won two games in the same day? huh? huh?
When's the last time a team won two double OT games on the same day?
You are about 2 minutes too late T Park! :smirk
I don't know about the last time, but I imagine with B2Bs it's probably been done a few times.
However, there's been only one time a team has won two games in the same day AGAINST THE SAME TEAM.
Give you some time to think about it.

Today the astros of houston and the cubs of chicago had a crazy idea. Play two ball games in the same day, something thats never been done in the history of baseball.
Spurs. there was a problem that prevented the Spurs from finishing a game.
Next time the Spurs and that team played, they finished the postposted game, which Spurs won, and then the Spurs won the scheduled game. I learned about this on this board last season, IIRC.
Right, it was the Spurs.
1982, the Spurs successfully protested an OT loss to the Lakers, forcing a replay of the last 3 seconds of regulation. This was rescheduled to the next home game against LA. The Spurs won the finish of the protested game, then won the regularly scheduled game.
When was the last time a basketball player played over 100 minutes in less than 27 hours.
