congrats
I just moved to a new area in Miami and I was checking out the gym clubs in the neighborhood. I walked in this gym and saw him and thought: hey, I know this guy! It took me 2 or 3 min before it hit me, wait it's Roger Mason!
He was working out so I did not want to bother him. I just told him I was a huge spurs fan and that he was nicknamed Roger Money Mason on ST. He laughed. I wanted to ask him why on Earth he was in Miami but I did not dare. So I left it at that , not wanting to bother him in his workout. And continued my visit of the gym.
I have to say he is bigger than he appear on TV. Well at least to me (which does not say much since I am not very tall)
Anyway, just wanted to share.
hmm...maybe he went to go visit his boy friend D.Wada!! jk

That's cool, running into a Spur in an unlikely place. Thanks for sharing.
Nice! I've run into a few Spurs around SA-Town through the years. Duncan at a Sprint store, Steve Kerr at a car dealership, Brent Barry at a Best Buy, and Finley at Dave & Buster's. I never want to bother them, though. The only one I asked for an autograph from was Duncan, because it was a Sprint store, which is small, and it was Duncan, who is large, plus everyone was already asking for one.
i thought I saw bruce bowen yesterday at gold's gym
I've run into Bowen at my local post office. Sean Elliott at the blockbuster near my house. Robinson at a gas station.
Ive never met any spurs players out of the AT&T Center, cool story

I just finished my morning workout and broke the gym record. I made 51 three pointers in a row today...I can't wait for the season!![]()
This clearly indicates that Matt Bonner must be traded.
What kind of workout was he doing? Weights, Cardio, Playing ball?
I can vouch for this guy. I have him on my Twitter, and he said he was going to Miami...congrats on meeting him.![]()
He was on a treadmill going super fast at one point but when I left he was doing abs.
I just hope he's been working on driving to the basket.
So has Money surpassed Hill as your favorite Spur now, CS?
I'll have to think about this one carefully!
as much as I'd welcome that, I don't want him focussing on it. Thats what ROLE players are supposed to do for their team; they do what they do best. While he can't let his other skills diminish to an extreme point, asking him to drive is forcing a round peg into a square hole.
