how did Mississippi move up? they looked like
lmao the stormin mormons in the top 10
mizzou is overrated. bama quite possibly has the best defense in the nation but eventually their lack of talent on the offensive side will be a problem for them (although teague was impressive).
Nebraska is gonna be the real deal this year.
I expect them to win the big 12 North and end up in the top 15
Suh is a man-beast. If they get into the top 15, it's cause no one can run on them
They blew out a pretty good Memphis team. What's funny is Ohio State looked like absolute dog .
Navy is better than Memphis, lets be honest Navy has made a bowl game the last 6 years and runs a offense that is hard to prepare for enough, let alone facing it on the first week of the season.
I mean Ohio State didn't look that good, but Navy isn't that bad. People are acting like Navy is horrible
The Mean Green need to be ranked in the top 25. This system is a sham.
Yeah but just wait till they meet the crusadin christians...(tcu)...
Navy's not terrible but the game shouldn't have been as close as it was, at least.
I agree.
nebraska could win the big XII north as it pretty weak. colorado looked awful.
Nothing I saw from Ohio State makes me believe they have a chance against SC....I hope I'm wrong.
Made me laugh out loud. Memphis caved at the end and they took advantage. I think anyone having money on Snead competing for second best QB in the SEC took a nose dive big time. I cannot wait for the day when Ole Miss gets slapped around because of play calling and a bunch of 5'9" linebackers.
Mizzou being ranked is a complete loss of words. Just shows how utterly re ed it is to rank teams this early.
BYU jumps BSU?
BSU's win was almost as impressive, we didn't need to injure their catalyst QB to win, and we didn't win a close game, we DOMINATED Oregon even after trying to keep them in it with a bunch of unforced errors.![]()
if BSU played Oregon again it would be like 35 - 10 BSU, if BYU played Oklahoma again, and doesn't injure Bradford, they lose.
oh well, Go TCU!
It's ridiculous that Oregon State isn't in the top 25. I'll have to stick with the coach's poll.
Oregon................State................sucks
IF BYU gets another chance and doesn't fumble going into the end zone and IF BYU had their starting RB healthy and IF BYU hadn't fumbled the 1st quarter punt on the 35 that lead to uo's only TD and IF BYU didn't throw an INT on the next drive trying to score and IF BYU's normally reliable kicker didn't miss a FG, that game might have been 27-9 BYU. IF all of those thing go according, then BYU is leading 20-6 at halftime WITH Bradford.
But that is a lot of ifs; none of which count for anything.
erm, yeah I didn't see the game, I just figured BYU eeked out a cheap win against a team without it's QB and Leader![]()
Partly because Ohio State looked like as well.
I'm telling you...once Todd Dodge gets a team full of his recruits and gets his system fully implemented, North Texas will be a fun team. I doubt they'll ever be a force to reckon with or anything like that (they simply can't draw the necessary talent to be compe ive with bigger schools), but they could do some damage in the Sun Belt. Riley Dodge looked great last game and I love how they went up to Muncie and handed it to Ball State.
As long as you aren't leaving me messages or sending me PM's on my profile after getting slapped across SpursTalk and taking it to heart.
