I don't remember him. Was he very good?
He signed a 10 day with the hawks
sorry if this was posted already
but i saw in the Daily Texan today how he signed a 10 day, and also hes the NBDL rookie of the year.
I always wish we had hung onto him
I don't remember him. Was he very good?
he never made the regular season roster, i dont think
he played in summer league and got cut right at season's start to make room for Malone
He was like a young malik
A young Malik is stretching it.
If only he had come into camp in shape and gave a crap.
Thomas stinks.
t park
you and i are like the opposite end of spursfandum
He was cut because he was out of shape. It had nothing to do with Malone.
expand on that would ya.you and i are like the opposite end of spursfandum
I dont understand your use of it in this context.
well we'd get along because we love the spurs
but i think james thomas would be a great pickup
you think eduardo najeras a good player
we have different political views
among other things
this is what i assume
you like metallica, i like pantera
youre an aggie, i'm a longhorn
you like the yankees, because they win alot
you probably would love a new chevy avalanche with on-star*
you like la margaritas
i like tink-a-taco
etc, etc
but in june we can toast another championship
who wouldn't want onstar though...it would allow me to relocate myself on the earths surface if i ever happened to drive my SUV into the uncharted wilderness of south texas
Thomas would have been a good pick up if he did get in shape though
hes strong and has heart and misses free throws like no other
oh
ROFL
cant be faded has redeemed himself for changing his name from hemann
this one time we were at a UT game and james thomas missed 10 consecutive free throws, then one of my friends at the game went to the marines and became the anti-spur
im not a heavy metal fan.you like metallica, i like pantera
youre an aggie, i'm a longhorn
you like the yankees, because they win alot
you probably would love a new chevy avalanche with on-star*
I root for both because i have close friends that went to both.
My favorite baseball team is the Cardinals because i grew up a cardinal fan because my family is from St Louis
and I would like a new H3 Hummer this fall to be honest.
Avalanches are ok, H3 is better![]()
Me for one, anything that can tell authorities exactly how fast I'm going while enjoying a nice, long, scenic, stretch of Texas Highway (from San Antonio to Big Bend comes to mind) is not for me.who wouldn't want onstar though...
We'd probably still have Thomas if his back wasn't so f'd up
(its his back right?)
no he had that fixed over the summer, it was muscular imbalance or something like that
Guy can rebound, but nothing else. He needs to reach at least a Reggie Evans level of usefulness in a system before he sticks. Good luck to him.
but hes so strong
he can be like danny fortson
or yeah, reggie evans
if he could develop a workout system in the offseason, improved his offense, hed be worth a look at on the IR next year.
But you cant just rebound and do nothin else.
Gotta bring other things.
Well what about Nazr?![]()
I thought you liked this guy.he can be like danny fortson
No one should ever be like Danny Fortson.
he brings points too.Well what about Nazr?
Come on, your not gonna say James Thomas is better than freakin Nazr Mohammed are you???
Thomas is where he is, FOR A REASON.
Recognize.
the Hawks are the NBDL and hes there ona 10 day in contract.
Better than Omar Cook though true.
yeah i do like thomas
but even though i dont like danny fortson, he has abused us in those first two seattle wins against us. offensive rebounds, getting to the line, etc
its just that raw strength straight up rebounder type of guy that i was talking about and fortson was the first person to come to mind
but yeah im not saying james thomas is the , i know he (relatively) sucks, otherwise spurs had kept him
BUT, he has to have some morsel of talent that can be nurtured if the spurs saw something in him to sign him in the first place.
Of course he does, but he needs alot of PT to develop any kind of NBA game. He needs to do that in the NBDL or on a team like the Hawks. Again, good luck.he has to have some morsel of talent that can be nurtured if the spurs saw something in him to sign him in the first place.
