Comparing the Houston ship channel to an armpit is an insult to armpits. Don't get me wrong, it's an engineering marvel and a wonderful economic addition to the city, but given a choice between taking a deep breath at the ship channel and huffing armpit fumes I'll take the 'pit any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
